Why I love Manba and other misc commentary : Vol. 69

 Technically this is only volume one but you know what I'm trying to say LMAO

I have talked about my love for manba pretty much my entire time doing this style. It's not the only thing I do but it's my favorite thing!

 And unfortunately!!! there's a criminal lack of people who do it like me!

I love it for the fact that it is eye-catching, it's a striking style, it's also kind of scary honestly but that's a power move lol

The way it changes your face when you do it right, from afar you look so different and up close and even more detail there's so much effort put into it, whether you're the kaa-tan type manba or the Angeleek type manba no matter what it's always really in your face and that's what I love about gal!

To me it's really the definition of get wild be sexy in the rawest form. Quite literally get WILD and quite literally be SEXY !!!

Manba was the first style that got me interested in gal actually! It was this one specific Ayuyun pic!

I was quite literally startled by this picture,,,,,, But I had it saved immediately LOL 

I would come back to look at it a lot. I would break it down, the hair, the onesie, the little mummy lookin character on her neck, all her bracelets, the one singular star shaped bracelet, the toys and the lei in her hair!!!

I was absolutely enraptured, and I am the same way to this day ;—;

It's just so gorgeous. I've never seen something that looks so colorful but at the same time kind of unsettling . I honestly feel like that is an accurate description for extreme, if you want to call it that, manba!

And that is my vibe me thinks lol

I really wish they were more of us you know! I went off about it on my instagram story the other day, and sure! some people try manba for a day, some people try it as a look for fun, but is that really all it is to people?

It's always I want to "try" Manba one day, it's never I want to "be" manba one day,,,

I feel like because OTT styles are so busy some people really only feel like you can only do them on certain occasions. But with the right amount of effort and with the right passion for it you should be able to do it as much as possible. Which is my personal goal!

In fact it's not impossible at all! Especially being that the inspo pics you see on Pinterest all the time and groups like Angeleek, the #1 strongest galsa, they didn't just go back to being normal after they did it once or twice a month, being in the full OTT state or being in something slightly less than that was their normal. as it should be!

I think that's what people tend to forget honestly. Both when it comes to louder styles like what I do or all the other gal styles out there. If you're going to start doing it, be prepared to be dedicated in my opinion.

If you really want to be a part of a subculture, if you really want to do right by it, then you need to figure out how to accommodate your life to gal. Rather than accommodate and gal to fit your life!!!

It's more than just applicable to gal. That's how you should feel about anything you have a passion for. 

If you really want to live it then you're going to have to actually do things to live it!!!

It's so sad knowing that people really don't want to put their all in. And that's why I think styles like manba and other OTT things are really kind of phasing out :(

When you get into something like this you can't be scared of what people think of you, you can't be scared of looks and stares. You can't do the minimum and then think that's okay. Because think about the few of us who actually put in are all,,,

If you ask me it's disrespectful !

You can't go half ass on it yknow, which is probably why it's intimidating,,,but if thats the case u are not ready to call urself a gal!!!

I hope that one day, there will be more people like me. I hope to meet more people who are lifestylers. Or really I just want to meet more people who are gal.

But that's another story for another post LOL 

When it comes down to it manba is really the definition of the I don't give a fuck mindset that I think all gals need to have LOL

Calling for more people to stop giving a fuck !

I'd like to eventually make a post breaking down the key points of manba and yamanba.

Maybe it'll help some people to kind of get what the point is!

Also as everybody knows I'm insane super fan of ayuyun. Let me know if anyone would be interested in outfit breakdowns of hers! Or even outfit breakdowns in general. I hope that they will be helpful to some people, it's what I do when I want to understand how to create an outfit a certain way :)

So yeah let me know!!!

In general as you can see I'm not trying to be very professional it's my blog so I'll do whatever I want to but! Obviously, I'd like for it to be a resource especially since I'm like one of the last people trying to be an OTT lifestyle type gal so I'll do my best lol
